Wedding QR Code Signage Placement & Quantity Planner
Estimate sign counts and choose print formats for your actual reception setup. Scan a printed proof at each planned location before ordering.
1 table tent or flat framed card per dining table.
We recommend 2 signs per bar (one at each ordering queue point).
Total Signs Needed
Order prints on 110 lb+ matte cardstock. Matte paper prevents chandelier reflection and spotlight glare, allowing smartphone camera sensors to focus instantly.

Critical Rules for High-Converting QR Signage
Check for Glare
Check your actual frame beneath the venue lights. If reflections obscure the code, move the sign or try matte stock and a freestanding holder.
Test the Printed Code
There is no guaranteed scan distance for a QR code. URL length, phone camera, contrast, lighting and print quality all matter. Use these sizes as starting points and test the actual printed code where guests will stand.
Explain Album Access
Use a clear instruction such as “Scan with your phone camera”. Mention no app or account only if your chosen album supports that access, and test the destination while signed out.
