Our Core Privacy Commitment
WedShare exists to protect and preserve your most intimate wedding moments. We do not sell your personal data, we do not show third-party ads, and we will never sell, license, or use your private photos or videos for machine learning, facial scanning, or public datasets.
1. Non-Indexed Private Galleries
Every wedding event on WedShare is assigned a randomized, non-sequential public slug (for example, /e/emma-jack-k7x4m). Private wedding pages are automatically served with strict noindex, nofollow, noarchive HTTP and meta headers, ensuring search engines never index or display your celebration to strangers.
2. Guest Privacy (No Account Required)
Unlike traditional platforms, wedding guests do not need to register, create accounts, or submit phone numbers or emails to upload photos. An anonymous temporary session ID is kept in the guest's browser so they can view and manage their own uploads during the reception.
3. Data Retention & Original Quality
All media uploads are preserved in uncompressed original quality. Depending on your chosen tier, your album is securely stored for 6 months (Starter), 1 year (Celebration), or lifetime archive (Forever Luxe). You can download a complete ZIP archive of all original media at any time with one click.
